The Longfellows Wedding Show showcases Longfellows Restaurant as the ideal wedding venue. It provides the setting for over 40 wedding professionals who are present to offer their expertise to engaged couples.

“We strive to offer an intimate show and an enjoyable experience. We limit the number of vendors in each category so it’s not overwhelming for our brides and grooms. Our goal is to provide engaged couples the opportunity to meet and personally talk to the vendors as they enjoy the unique ambiance our venue offers,” said Rebekah Foster, Special Events and Catering Manager in a press release.

With its elegantly rustic décor, Longfellows provides a distinctive setting for this one-of-a-kind wedding show. This year marks the 16th year that the restaurant has showcased their venue to engaged couples and they are celebrating with elaborate food displays, tastings and an exciting variety of door prizes and giveaways. As always, admission is complimentary.

A very special offering this year includes the opportunity to have Saratoga Springs Mayor Joanne Yepsen marry one couple at a Saratoga Springs location of their choice. The Mayor will issue a framed Wedding Day Proclamation for the couple.

A wedding shower for up to 20 guests, courtesy of Longfellows Restaurant will be given away as a Grand Prize. Engaged couples can also register to win a Wedding Day prize package valued at $800, 3 hours of limousine transportation for the bride and 5 of her friends to and from Saratoga Winery for a Wine Tasting; and a set of Wedding Bands valued at $600.

A Wedding Breakfast Workshop starting at 9:15 am in the Inn at Longfellows prior to the wedding show is an added attraction. This workshop offers couples the opportunity to attend with their bridal party, friends and family and enjoy a delicious breakfast while learning from industry professionals in the venue, officiant, photography, floral and DJ services categories. The cost is $23 per person including tax and gratuity. Reservations are required as space is limited.

New to the show this year is the Tasting Room. Engaged couples will be encouraged to taste a variety of confections provided by show vendors and vote for the “Best Confection of the Show.” The winning confectioner will win a prize.

Engaged couples can register for the show online or by calling 518-406-0505.
